WATER ACCESSIBILITY

OUR CAMPAIGN
Clean water is a basic human right and everyone should have access to it. Lack of access to clean water goes against the principles of equity and justice as it violates basic human rights, creates inequalities, unfairly burdens marginalized communities, and limits opportunities for growth and development.

To combat water scarcity, Humanity Helps Hunger builds wells in remote areas with limited access to surface water or without centralized water systems. These wells provide a source of water for drinking, agriculture and livestock, which are crucial for the survival and well-being of the communities.

Give water, give life

Our Projects

Due to the dire need for clean water in the Oromia region of Ethiopia, we recently completed a hand-dug water project to provide access to safe water. The project has had a significant impact on the community, improving their health and hygiene, reducing the risk of waterborne diseases, and freeing up time for other productive activities.

We have successfully constructed more than 12 solar panel wells in rural areas of Pakistan, specifically in Tharparkar. These solar-powered wells provide access to underground water reserves while addressing the region's energy needs in a sustainable way by reducing their dependence on traditional fuel sources and greatly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
